Our PTA Needs YOU!

Hello, Lisa Gomez, your PTA President asking for help.

We are holding elections on Wednesday March 9th at 6:00 pm for the 2022/2023 school year WCEPTA Executive Board. In order to be a California PTA we are required at minimum to have a President, Treasurer and Secretary. We currently have nominations for only President and Secretary. I am asking that some parents please step up to fill the Treasurer position or other roles. To be clear, if we do NOT have a Treasurer we do not have a PTA. If for some reason you think you’re too new at the school, don’t worry we’re here to support you and help you learn the roles of PTA. Wolf Canyon has a great program in our PTA that supports our students and teachers from Holiday Grams to Field Trips Grants to Events for the students and grants for our teachers, it would be unfortunate to be disband.
Please reach out to PTA at wolfcanyonpta@gmail.com if you are interested or have questions. Parents can be nominated from the floor on Wednesday for all positions if interested and have been a PTA member for at least 30 days. If we do not have a Treasurer by May 2022 for next year we will be monitored for lack of leadership by California State PTA and will eventually be disband. I understand this is extra work for a group of already hard working busy parents but if we work together we can keep this PTA going. Thanks and Go Timberwolves!
